“Mental Filmness, the Chicago-based film festival about mental health, will screen virtually from October 9-November 1 through the Eventive platform. Passes are free and will be available opening night October 9 at 7:00 p.m.The third annual Mental Filmness film festival will be offered online in a video-on-demand format. Passholders will have the ability to unlock access to all available features and shorts which they can watch at their leisure during the festival’s entire run time. The platform will link to Q&A segments from participating filmmakers, and will host short films and features depicting the theme of mental health from all around the world.
Films screening include documentaries, animation, genre films, dramas, and comedies, among others. The films shine a spotlight on a variety of mental illnesses including depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and more. This event is free and passes will be open to viewers from all around the world.”
