Here is a really neat article in the Hannibal Courier-Post that goes into detail about the behind-the-scenes making of Birdie and the positive reception it has been receiving on the film festival circuit. Perhaps most importantly of all, it mentions this short film’s appearance in Mental Filmness, a hybrid film festival that “specifically focuses on stories advocating for mental health.”
Sounds like a pretty cool festival!
